Replacement part for TRI001 ROUTER
I am wondering if anyone would be able to tell me the size of the screw for the following part of the router.
as I need to get a new one, and if able I would prefer to get from a hardware store, than having to get this screw in. of which i would think be a standard size anyway.

It is a standard threaded fastener which will be available from either Bunnies, Supercheap or if all else fails an actual nut and bolt merchant.
Now; as for size... it could be metric, probably M5; possibly M4.
Or it could be Unified; either an 8-32 or possibly 6-32.
I doubt it will be Whitworth series, 3/16" BSF
Not having access to my TRA until next week I can't measure one for you; but from memory Triton used to use Imperial threads on everything so I'm 99.9% certain that my unit (circa 2003) uses Unified threads.
Pity you live in Sarf Oz, I will have something appropriate rattling around in my shed you could have had for nowt; but if you do properly identify it pop your head into the Metalwork Forums (of which you are automatically a member!) and you're bound to find somebody local to you who will also have a big jam jar of old screws.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

No worries; will pull the old girl out of the table sometime tomorrow and measure it up for you.

Here you go; it is an M3 (3mm dia with 0.5mm pitch) screw with 5mm of thread. The OEM screw appears to be a truss head with combined flat & philips, but a dome or cheese head will work fine. A countersunk or hex head won't fit though.

You should be able to pick one up from somewhere like Jaycar or Tandy or some other electronics supplier; M3 is a bit small for normal hardware stores.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.
