Kincrome are the distributors - Carbatec are the retailers.

    Original thread was asking "TBD1500" 2 in 1 belt & disc sander @ $199

    A mate suggested a SB-609 - Carba-Tec® 6"x9" Belt/Disc Sander with Stand - $339.00

I like the compac size of the Triton.
Any more leads would be appreciated, new or secondhand, thank you.

    Crowie,

If you were around when this thread -

    https://www.woodworkforums.com/f15/bairnsdale-electrics-93437/
    Original thread was asking "TBD1500" 2 in 1 belt & disc sander @ $199

was active .... you would know that these were liquidation prices.

Bit hard to hold a supplier to prices offered when stock was then being liquidated 3 years ago

I have dealt with Peter at Bairnsdale Electrics since then and have found his prices to be very reasonable, and his service excellent. Unfortunately the freight can't be helped ... the price you pay for living as remotely as we do.

    Regards, Inter

I think you mean crowie not me as I have not had a reply to my email just asking if they have what I need. crowie is the one not happy with the cost.

They must be out there somewhere at back of someones shed looking for a new home...
Even a similar good brand "Belt & Disc Sander" if someone has one they'd be interested in selling; I'd love to see it, thank you.
    Cheers, crowie
