    Default Can a Triton clear blade guard be installed on a MK3 using some type of adaptor?

    I have just bought a used Triton MK3 and would like to install the dust collection systems (supposed for Triton 2000).
    Is it possible?

    The main issue is that the dust collection system connects to a clear blade guard.
    The clear blade guard cannot be directly installed on my MK3.

    Yes, the clear blade guard of the WC2000 can be installed on the MK3 but you need a new guard support as well. Not sure if the guard support for the WC2000 fits the MK3.

    I did the conversion years ago and I'll have to go down to my storage of old tools and bits to check.

    Will post result of that search later.

    My recollection is that Triton produced a separate MK3 support for the clear guard.

    You're right. I dug up my support guide for the MK3 and it's different from both of the MK3 and WC2000 support. It has the base of the MK3 to clamp on the workcentre and the upright for the clear support like the WC2000.

    Can take some photos later if interested.

    Yes, its DCA001 - there's a picture of it on this site, which has sold out (but very expensive)
