New Triton Random Orbital Sander
Belated happy new year to all - I have just got back from leave and in Bunnings the other day noticed a Triton ROS... There was no price tag on it and I didnt have time to ask.
Does anyone know price of this machine or have any opinion (good or bad on it ).
Thanks
Albert

It is well balanced, the base swivels 360 degrees so when getting into tight corners you can twist it around rather than switching hand positions(it may not seem a big deal to some but will to others). The Dust bag has a large opening to get the dust out easily and also has a smaller hole for connecting a vacuum pipe direct for dust extraction - depending on what method suits the individual. There are chaeper Sanders out there of course but it looks and feels ok.

Wow Gumb, what else is coming? I am getting right into this Triton stuff. The guy at Bunnings the other day said it breeds - has anyone else encountered this?

As to the ROS- a comparable one in look and feel is the Dewalt, and that comes in around the $200 mark, and I don't see the Triton being inferior. I certainly don't see it as being a rebadged GMC, as they never had one like this on the market."Clear, Ease Springs"
