Picked one up in Darwin Bunnings a few weeks ago for $58.00, Ive used it a few times and am quite happy with it for the price.
I was in Darwin Bunnings only last week and they have no Triton on the shelves products any more .
Also other power tool stock seems to be dwindling away.
I did pick up some bar clamps , 28.00 a pair ,they scanned at $19.00 so I grabbed some more.
They have a notched aluminium bar with a quick adustable jaw .

I thought that ROS was an abbreviation for ROSWELL and was waiting for a vague reference to AREA 41 and some theme music from the X files. Alas it was only a sander , I'm happy with my Hitachi ROS but thanks for the info

Default Triton ROS $49 at Glendale Bunnings

I've been reading about all the cheap Triton stuff on offer wondering why my local Bunnings weren't doing the same, and there they were ....... a stack of $49 ROS's.

Couldn't pass it up, just had to get one.

    Default Even cheaper at Kotara

There you go. I thought I had a great deal buying a Triton ROS at $49 only to find out Bunnings at Kotara were selling them for $34.

    Default Triton ROS

The one I had that recently decide to cash its chips in after about 20years faithful service was an attachment for a 100mm angle grinder. Worked a treat! But alas it has gone to that great scrap heap in the sky!

There are two triton ROS's. A angle grinder attachment, which I have but which destroyed itself a while ago, and the independant one, which is the one I believe is being discussed here. If you go to triton.com.au and look at the relevant pages all will be revealed.

There were 2 template kits, 1 ros which, like Damian said is independant. Am going to head there again this morning and will have a look for the template kit.
(after morning visit) Only things left were wheel kits ($15), jigsaw attachments (?) and 1 biscuit joiner ($81) which looked x display.

Rocklea have 3 template kits on teh shelf, 2 of the small ones and 1 of the MOF one with the winder handle etc. Unfortuantely they scan at $45 or so...

I'm not destined to have a template kit am I ?
