Chrism's explanation and your photo clarifies it all now; I've never seen that universal clamp set up before. Maybe give one of the stockists a call and confirm whether or not the sub plate is included in the RTA423; my instinct still says no but the picture says yes as does Chrism; this is one of those times where I'd really like to be wrong.
When you finally get it mounted, don't ignore that dust collection port. I own 2 Tritons and another 4 routers, the dust collection on the Tritons blows the others away. I think you have to get to Festool level to get comparable performance.

Dear Thomas,
I know the plate is included because I have ordered at least two kits, one for me and one for my club.
What is shown on the website is what you get.
The reason it's a favourable price is probably because Triton was obliged to assist Triton table owners to take up Triton routers.
