    Default Triton Template Guide Query

I have a Triton M0F001 that I have been using as a slab leveler with an adjustable sled based on a photo from Lumberjocks but now wanting to do some things that need a bushing set.

Looking at the Triton TGA250 kit but there seems to be some queries re Triton kits ( the older ones anyway ) that they may not really be the way to go.

So my basic query is for your thoughts / experience on should I drill the generic multi base from Cabratec to suit and get the RM-9 bushing set ( again Cabratec ) or go the Triton kit.?
I bought the Cabratec base BPA-1 about 12 months ago on the advice that it would suit but only on Friday actually took the base out of its packet & found that it need drilling. As yet have not found a locally available compatible base with the default bush size centre.

Also while speaking with a professional fine timber maker, the suggestion was that the brass inlay kit BIK-30 ( Cabratec again ) is not really worth it and that style of inlay kit is not nearly as easy to use as the various write ups & videos suggest - do you have any experience with these inlay kits ?

    Many thanks for your assistance

    UPO - Richard

I use the carbatec brass bushing set for my mof001. I did have the auxillary base plate but I seem to have lost it. I think it is under something in the shop. I am now using the baseplate from timbecon which comes with its own guide bushing, but can also accept the standard porter cable style brass bushings.

Hi Kuffy, I spoke with David ( Timbercon ) last week about the Triton Kit TGA250 which I think is about the 3rd Triton version of the guide Bushing kit - almost certain to go with that, just gathering some morew comments from those who use / have used the kit before buying from David. How do you use the Carbratec brass inlay kit ?
    Thanks

    I am currently using
    https://www.timbecon.com.au/routing/...te-bushing-set

it comes with the "turn-lock" bushes, but also a turn-lock insert which will accept the standard porter cable brass bushings.

I use router guide bushings for internal pocket cutouts, and inlay work.

Many thanks Kuffy - does the base plate shown in your Timbecon link require custom drilling or with the many slots & holes does it line up for the M0F001 Triton out of the box ?
