G'day Stuart. Are the infeed/outfeed plates on the 380mm planer/thicknesser/moulder pressed metal or cast alloy?
    Cheers

I was told that there was a chisel morticer due soon, although that may arrive as a GMC brand. Seems to me that if the quality is there it should be Orange.

Looking at the new product range, and provided the QA is there, it seems that GMC have not only saved the Triton brand but revitalised it.

    Clever boys.

Can't be sure, but from the photo, appears to be pressed metal. Cast would be nice, and worth the extra $$$$

No - haven't heard any, other than the sharpener which I think they have already quoted as being around $100. Unfortunately, I can't check as all the links to the Triton Times on the new site are still to be set up.

Originally, I had heard that it was to be around Easter, but this has probably slipped right by a couple of months. That's my best guess. I'm definitely waiting for that one too.

So we should also see the 2 scrollsaws, the digi speed Bench drill and the universal work centre later this year. Looks like some good stuff coming.

    Stinky, The triton website says
    Incorporating:
    - Oscillating function for even, burn free sanding and extended sleeve life
It also mentions an adjustable control too.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Thanks .... I should have looked at the site ... I will go there now
The new website layout is much more user friendly than the old ..... the three in one sander might be a good companion for bandsaw boxes.

Oh yeah - forgot about those! (Except the universal work centre - ???) The only workcentre replacement thingy I heard about got sh*tcanned ages ago by the Triton engineers as not being close to Triton quality.
