The trade marks, patents etc were sold to a swiss company, who are probably selling the Triton (re-badged) to CMT.

The spare parts stock and all patents, intellectual property has been bought by a Swiss company, Powerbox AG.
So they may be back into the market.

From other forums, the Trition TRC001 and the smaller Triton are back on the market in the US.

The TRC001 now has the through-table-height adjuster similar to the smaller one.

We may not see them back into Australia, which is a shame.

As we know, the domain for the web site could be anywhere.

I do know that new stock of CMT AND Triton routers have appeared in Europe and the US.

Hi Stu.

The directors of Global Power brands P/L are Peter Hosking and Antonio D'Antonio. Are they the same guys that used to own GMC? The company only started up April 2009.

I was told by the receivers that all the spares, patents etc was bought by a Swiss company. (Powerbox AG?)...maybe they siphoned off their money to a swiss bank? JUST JOKING....

That's the usual suspects.
I assume the patents etc that were sold were the ones owned by GMC (which was 2 companies), and not the ones that Peter owned directly. Surprised about the router - thought that would be one he held onto.
