I give up - my Triton won't cut straight. Anyone work out what's wrong from this pic
Oh dear - do you think they'll cover this on warranty? My wife heard the crash and came out and saw me crying. "It's just a car sweety" she consoled. She just couldn't understand why I was really upset. Long story short: car not in gear, handbrake failed and Kapop! straight through the garage door. We were VERY lucky no one was in the garage - we were using it as our work space for that day's renovation jobs. BUT WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY POOR ORANGE BEASTIE. And to add insult to injury my crappy Daewoo is barely scratched thanks my Triton crumple zone.
Any one got any photo's of personal idiocy that led to Triton WC damage they can post to make me feel better?

It looks that there is only some panels damaged on the WC. Perhaps only one - the end one - can't tell from the photos.
Do a careful assessment, and let me know what the actual extent of the damage is. (Use the parts list on the Triton Website), and I will see what I can do about it. When you do, PM me your address as well. (Don't post it in the open forum).
If Eagle or one of the other GMC guys sees this, they may jump in.
Seriously though - it doesn't look too bad, other than the one end panel. they make the orange beastie pretty resiliant! Some of your other items look the worse for wear!!!
One way to sweep the floor - are you sure this isn't an excuse to update your workshop???"Clear, Ease Springs"

There's always opportunity in adversity. Check your insurance.
My foot slipped backing down the driveway, off the brake onto the throttle (this was a V8 Stateman). Straight into the corner of the garage! Unfortunately had just been out riding and had 2 x very flash mountain bikes on the towball rack.

The insurance paid and both myself and fellow rider managed to upgrade the bikes, one level up.Bodgy

I wish!
I wish it was an excuse to replace all my equipment! Unfortunately we only moved in the month before and only had building replacement insurance (of course we now have comprehensive after the fact). The car however is a work car whose brakes failed so technically the car insurance should cover the damage but when i asked my boss to include it on the claim she fobbed me off. I've since given my notice (for more than that of course).
Thanks Stuart, you were very right. It's just the "WCA274 End Panel Assembly - Rear" and both "WCA256 base channels" that have been bent beyond repair.
Anything you could do to help me organise to replace them would make a sad man happy again. ....
PS: The Daewoo has far bigger dents from the WC2K so ... Daewoo vs Triton - Triton won!

What is more worrying to me is why the Daewoo brakes failed.
Any comments.
Are they safe to be on the roads?woody U.K.

hmm
The mechanics who serviced the car for work don't seem to care too much - they're a joke and the handbrake went again a week after they "fixed it". Someone else said it's cheap cable in the cable handbrake. Who knows? I'm not convinced about the car or the way it's been looked after. Daewoo are no longer selling cars in Australia and I finish this job in three weeks so it's good riddance to the car for me (but let's be careful not to defame Daewoo).
Wifey & I have just bought a Mitsubishi of similar size & shape & it feels distinctly more solid & safer.

Nah trash it and get a propa saw!! stop playin an get seriass!
One note here I do love my Triton router... but thats it!... oh and their stop button is a bottler too... but thats it! honestly
See now lets look at this problem a bit more seriously eh?... Rightio so you buy an elcheepo thin flimsy Triton saw table (not knockin their saw here) and a el cheepo garage door and to top it of you drive an el cheepo bucket of bolts and you cant understand whats wrong?
First get a TUFF sawtable get a propa standalone table saw... second get a TUFF garage door most nowadays are rubbish that one proves my point no? a good solid garage door should be able to take a F100 beltin into it... on that matter get a good solid TUFF as ol knuts F100 and all your problems are solvered... well until you want to drive the thing then thats a whole other set of probs
Dont worry mate thank us all later okay?... gawd you gotta love a place where you can post a question like this and get true good advice in minutes!!
Ahem... the reason I didnt get any triton gear (other than the router) it looked and felt flimsy and Im rough as guts with my tools so I fugured that since Im ruff as gits with my tools I bedda not get something that looked like it would fall over with one peice of 20ft 10x6 Jarrah layin on it  ... its gotta take RIFF and TOFF... eerr RUFF an TUFF
Redeem thyself toddles... Redeem thyself and come to the rightsiders camp!
Apologies to Stuart Lees for rubbishin his firm held belief in all things Triton... nothin meant ol fella!Believe me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!
