ummm errr how does this go back together.
Early/mid last year, I bought a Kreg router table, stand and Triton router along with a load of other bits n pieces,(deceased estate) the router had been taken out of the table ... now finally getting my act together,
I have (I think) all the bits but where does the spring go? if it does?
The router does not want to move up n down so before I force it, should a little lubricant be added to the shafts.
which way does the router face, yeah upside down drr I worked that out but which way is forward
for using a 150 bell mouth in a housing underneath, should I remove the clear plastic stuff around the shaft
The previous owner had it pluged into a home made switch on the stand, I would like to have a on/off switch on the front of the workbench where it would be mounted.
I am sure these have been answered before, but honestly I have too many projects going on with shed refit, work, landlord redoing all our created garden beds etc etc.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

No pictures However; I think I know your issues:
Plunge: DON'T FORCE IT!!! It's probably locked in the wind-up rack-and-pinion mode; try to wind it up and down by grabbing hold of the big orange cog-shaped bit on the inside of one handle; squeezing it towards the handle and winding the handle up and down. To change to plunge mode you press and turn the orange switch-type thing in the outer end of the handle; or at least you do on my original design TRA1.
Spring: On the top of the router is a big black plastic sticky-up thing with a "Triton" logo sticker. At the bottom is a single philips headed screw. Remove the screw then TURN the plastic sticky-up-bit anti-clockwise; it is a bayonet fit like a lightbulb. The spring drops down into the hole it uncovers.
You should be able to download the manual online; otherwise I'm pretty sure I've seen ADuke supply older Trtion literature in PDF form; send him a PM maybe?
The clear plastic bit is GREAT for dust/chip extraction; by all means have a bellmouth in the cabinet but to be honest putting a normal vac hose into the plastic will pull damn near everything.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

Tony,
The spring in the Triton router is only used if using freehand and if used in a router table you remove the spring otherwise the fine adjustment system won't work.
The PDF file for the Triton router can be downloaded from Manuals – TOCACT which should answer all you need to know and more.
Peter.
