Zero clearance inserts in Mk 3 Workcentre
I have a Mark 3 Triton Workcentre and have often wondered about whether it might be possible to put a zero clearance insert in it.
Has anyone done it successfully, please? How, please?

maybe a sheet of 3mm mdf (or the melamine coated one) bigger than the table top. put a batten on the bottom on all four sides, so it is a snug fit to create a new top.
If you have a through table winder this will be easier.
Raise the blade while running to cut a new slot for the blade. A few more grooves for the fence and also the scales. The fence then should hold it down for you.
