    Default 2" Berg

How happy was I yesterday when I wandered in to an 'antiques and collectables' shop (I wasn't going to bother but my wife encouraged me!!!!), picked up a 2" wide chisel, turned it over and saw both the price tag of $30 and the name "E A BERG" !!!

The blade is flat, no rust, no pitting, the handle has been bashed but will restore acceptably.

Sorry but take heart that good deals still exist out there.

    Cheers

    SC

And if you put it up on ebay, going by the last 2" that sold, you'll make a huge profit - 10 times over.

A lucky bloke to find that at $30.
I make things, I just take a long time.

It's a keeper and user. But if it does go up for sale one day it will be offered to the forum first and ebay second...
