I wish I could say I never have them! A couple of weeks ago, I thought I had really lost it - you know the old saw about "I've measured this twice & cut it twice & it's still too short"....? Well, it actually happened. I marked out a piece, then realised the end I'd marked from had a large defect that was going to land right where the tenon shoulder would be, so I lopped off a bit, remarked it, and then cut on the (original) wrong line! I couldn't believe my eyes when I put it beside the piece it was supposed to match. Of course, I was working with the recycled Hoop for GD's desk, and was scratching to find enough for the job as it was. In moments like that, you could possibly sell me a Domino.....
