Hmmm, small, portable benches are useful, but I think they need to stand on at least three feet! There's more to this (or there was!) than meets the eye, methinks. There must have been some sort of top, since the vise jaw sticks up about the right amount above what's left. The vise hardware might be useful, but the rest is fireplace fodder, I reckon .......
