    Default BERG fans- alert

    Dear All

Chanced on some unusual Berg Firmer chisels today.
The firmer Bergs are extremely rare in my experience and the condition of these was exciting.
16/6 for the one inch and 12/6 for the half inch pre 1966.
    Pics for your viewing pleasure.
    Cheers

Not the usual handle shape. A bit more info would be good.

Here is an Eskilstuna handle excerpt from a catalogue; possibly Anchor/Jernbolaget.
The second type is similar to that used on the Berg firmer chisels.
Note the leather washers and steel ferrules similar to Titan firmer chisels.

    They are very solid chisels.

I haven't seen too many of these either. Anybody else?

Those last ones sure look like turning chisels to me.

Beautiful things you have there for sure.

They look beautiful! They do come up, you just need to be patient! Here are a couple I have accumulated over the last three years.

I will check if I have any spares and let you know.

    Cheers stew
