The extenders are something that is only for the US. Apparently these are commissioned by Bessey USA and not Bessey Germany - the makers of the clamps (where we are getting our clamps from ultimately).

For what it's worth I bought some of these from woodcraft when I was in Hawaii last year and they are one cool bit of kit and something that we all would definitely love. Having said that it's going to be a whole new can of worms to get these outside the US and as such I've left them in the too hard basket for this order. I am still researching how I can make this happen and you will all know if I can make it so.

    Ciao,

    M.

Nope, not too late. The first round was just to get an indicative number so I could get decent prices for everyone!

Just email me your order and I will take it from there.

    Ciao,

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

I guess there is some clarifications needed here. If you have not ordered your clamps by sending me an email (details below) then please do so. You do not need to have expressed interest before hand (i.e. earlier in this thread) to order. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned as it adds little work in the long run for me.

All I ask to make my life a little better is following from you all

    1) Your name,
    2) Address,
    3) Woodwork forum handle
    4) Drop off point
    5) Preferred method of payment
    6) clamps etc for your order.

Email these details to [email protected] and I will compile the spreadsheet and get it off to Colin @ northwood.

Once this is sent Colin will email you an invoice with the full payment amount you need to give him. After that the order goes to Bessey in Germany (which helps the EU economy I'm sure ) And the clamps are shipped out.

Just a side issue, the Bessey 800mm (k-80) clamps have never been available in Australia before this order. They are definitely part of this deal - our influence has been felt - so if you want some of these special length clamps then add them now

    ciao,

    M.

aha. Clear thanks mate. Begs the question though, if they're made in Germany why do they use stupid imperial measurements. Prolly cos the septics don't know a millimetre from millipede.

    Ciao,

Under normal circumstances, I would love to. But with a newborn baby, lack of space, and a stupidly crazy routine, I wouldn't be able to comply.

Plus, I'm sneaking these clamps past SWMBO, so a truck turning up with a pile of clamps would give the game away.

    Exclamation Oder numbers....

    Hi All,

Thanks to those who have already got their orders off to me. We are coming close to the cut off date for order so if you haven't already done so, please get your orders into me ASAP!!!

The is some bad news here. I have just under half the amount of clamps formally ordered (49%) from the initial numbers that I got earlier from this thread when I was asking for expressions of interest. These numbers need to be at least 80% otherwise Northwood will have to revise/renegotiate the price with Bessey due to reduced volume. This might mean that the price goes up for some/all clamps - I don't know at this stage.

I guess it comes down to this - Get your orders in fast to avoid forum-ite unhappiness!!

    Thanks,

    Martin.

    Thumbs up Mine Too

Just put my order in also. Many thanks for organising this again Martin.
All the rest of you cough up for your clamps - these bulk buys are great- the clamps take a while to arrive and by then the pain of the price is long gone and its almost like they are free!!

Is there a drop off point between northern Gold Coast & south Brisbane? I'm not in the original order but will get some clamps if there is a drop off point close by.

Hi Martin, I haven't been following the thread closely as I'm not interested in the revo clamps, but are you talking about the original K-body style in that above quote?
