Also big thanks to rev for starting this thread. The poor bugger started with a small question and see what happened. It has become one of the longest threads.

Well I think the only fair way is a public auction of places on the pallets. Highest bid goes on top. Proceeds to The DarrylF Tool Buying Fund of course

... but wouldn't the order on the top up here, be on the bottom down there??

    Cheers -

Appologies if this has already been answered, but how do we associate our "other stuff" with the clamp order ?

    Cheers

Yep, or thereabouts. Just place a separate order. For the international portion of the freight it makes no difference if it's one order or five - all based on weight & dimensions. For the local portion they will be consolidated anyway.

    Thanks.

I guess what I was trying to ask was how do we get LV to ship our subsequent stuff with the clamps.

Do we need to put a note like "please ship this stuff with the WWA clamp order"?

Just order in exactly the same way as the clamps, with the same note - details at http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...353#post115353

    Craig -

Just a quick note to say that, if you know what "other stuff you want", best to add it to the order as quickly as possible (you can add as frequently as you want)...that way we we reserve the inventory for you. If you change your mind, it's easy to take off. Once we hit the shipment date - the works goes on the boat, and we cancel any back-orders....

    Cheers -

Hands up, who thinks they are in the S*** the deepest with their SWMBO?

I nominate myself.....US$549.15 in goods alone!

Boy this is gonna be a long wait!

I'll get in quick here, before 'Cousin' Rob. I fear you are too late - this was a time limited offer from BESSEY to Lee Valley, so Lee Valley probably have to be able to prove to Bessey that the order was made before a certain cut-off time. Of course, considering how popular this deal was, perhaps Bessey will make similar deals with LV in future.

Of course, if you want some cast iron table legs, or a LV router table, I'm pretty sure you could get in on the shipping deal with the rest of us - if you can't, think of the money you'll have for spending on timber.
