    Default Bessey Clamps

Popped into Gasweld Wollongong this morning as the quoted to me that the Bessey K60's were $65. Not a bad price, equal to Northwood's price and no postage. Got a present suprise when the bloke rung up $58.64 each. So I asked how much for the K30, $55 each he says. Ok I'll grab a pair of them too.

    Me a happy little woodwrecker.

One question, I have 139 various clamps (the odd number due to breaking a Bar clamp during a practice glue up) Is this enough????

I mentioned this figure to my wife and she said she'll have to go shopping!!!!!

No, this is not enough. Based on the trueism that you can never have too many clamps. I think it's covered in the Code of Practice.

Good price on the Bessey's though. Good to see that they're becoming more realistic in price.

They're selling them at 25% discount if one buys four or more at Carbatec, Sydney, until the end of the month. I had to indulge.

Bessey and stabil clamps are shipped in boxes of 10. They should give you a great price if bought by 10x . In the last 4 years I've bought 60 clamps.
The last lot of bessey clamps were 200 x 80 $22 each for a box of 10. 4 years ago the same clamps were $18 each for a box of 10.
I also use the taiwanese 'eagle' clamps last lot I bought were $5.50 each for 10.
Last year I priced some deep throated clamps 600x 300 - !$250! each - youch!. Won't be buying them by the box.

Bessey's are just fancy junk. If you can't figure out what to do with them I collect junk send them to me. I have collected a lot of pipe & cast iron junk & will be receiving eight wooden pieces of junk with 2 wooden handles one on each side soon. I really need some of the higher class junk like you collect. I've been reading about some of that fancy Jet junk it looks promising too.
