    Default Bushranger Blades

    Hi everyone , This post is to let all woodworkers know about the Bush ranger Blades range of hand plane irons , i have been producing the irons for a couple of years now and selling them through a wholesaler but have decide to push a little harder and increase awareness of the product . Bush Ranger Blades are made of the highest qaulity high carbon high chromium german tool steel wash ground and laser cut, heat treated to 57 Rc and vacuum quenched for optimum results,the irons are available to suit stanley and record patterns to suit both block and bench planes , Rabbet plane irons are on the way.other patterns can be made to order if required ,These irons are capable of producing out standing results will take a super fine edge and will last for years. if you would like to know more please post me a private message and i will answer your queries asap

    I would be interested in

    (1) the availability of blades for block planes, especially the Stanley #65/18, bench planes, such as the #3 through 8, and shoulder planes, such as the Stanley #9X series.

    (2) the blade thickness (of the above).

    (3) Prices for all, including shipping costs to the various centres.

    All Irons are made from highest Quality German Tool Steel ,wash ground to 2.6 mm in thickness (1mm thicker than stadard ) to eliminate chatter when planeing difficult timbers,they are laser cut to ensure dimensional accuracy ,the Irons are then heat treated and vacuum quenched to 57 Rc givig a vey hard extremly tough edge that will once set and honed will give outstanding performance wih minimal re sharpening needed i have no doubt that Buhranger Blades are as good as any ever Produced !, a big statement i know but i made them and i have been using them for 4 years and would not consider changing brands,bushranger blades are made in Castlemine vic so buy australian!
