    hi yall, where can i buy chisel caps on the internet? so far i've had no luck.

    Yep, the cornflake box cardboard and some tape are all you need and then only if you have to transport chisels. If you have a leather chisel roll then caps are not reqired at all.

    Or you can use cut up bits of folder binder, or pressure hose, or one of 500 others things too

    give Jim Davey a call Jim Davey Planes & Sharpening - Home
    he usually has sets of sown leather chisel tip covers for sale. They're just not on his web site

    or if you don't want to spend the outrageous price of $7 for a set you can always make your own...
    cover the tip of your chisel with hot-melt glue, when cold you should be able to pop them on & off

    Yep - we have them - sewn leather in a few different colours too. Sized to fit BE Chisel from 3 - 50mm. $0.50 each or $5.00 per set of 11. I don't have them listed on my website.
