Go easy with them. I had a set of similar clamps and without exception the lower grip broke when I tried to apply a lot of pressure.

What he said, depending on Dan's definition of "lower." The hinge pins (handle) are nothing to crow about either. I've replaced some with machine screws.

Yellow and black are more robust.

On the plus side for this style, the small jaw can be moved to the other end of the bar for expansion mode, if needed.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Thanks gents already knew about handle breaking but the preasure being used at the time was over the top so my own fault.
So I have one to repair from a 600mm set going to make a Jarrah handle . Otherwise not bad for the price.

If you dont mind, I would be interested in seeing your repair of the broken handle when you do it.

I may be able resurrect a few of my broken ones.

    Cheers,

    Dan

I'll be just doing a copy of one of the good handles using the scrollsaw Dremel etc to shape it but no problem just time to do it is the problem.
