Is No. 6 a Sorby, just looking at the way the socket joins the blade, there is no noticeable shoulder. It looks like that really old Rob. Sorby that belonged to my grandfather. And 8 is similar.
Cheers

I don't know why I didn't see this before.
6,7,& 8 are left handed!
Those Lie Neilsen style handles are the ones you bought that caused the controversy from the lady whose Dad died in the truck crash?
No. 2 has original handle.
6,7 & 8 are more like firmers in the angle of their bevelled edges, and so is no1 for that matter.
2 I can see the quench mark.Cheers

I wish I could give you a bigger picture but have never been able to get that to work.
So we are stuck with the 100K limited one.
Time for a clue.
Who did Lie Nielsen use as the model for their chisels?

Good guessing Jim but FC has it.
Apart from 1, 5and 7 all the others are Stanleys.
The handles were a clue.
1 is a Bluegrass made by Belknap Hardware Co
5 is a Keen Kutter
and 7 is a very old Thomas Witherby....
and there are no chisels by Elle - more's the pity.
Thanks everyone for playing and FC you are up.
