    Default O dear

I really should make this a regular, but does society really need this, and I will make an exception to people with physical elements.

Full able people it's called a hand saw, you use arm muscles to push and pull it.

And it does what the gimmick will, but uses no battery or electricity or nuclear power.
It does require using brain power tho.

Wonder how many fingers will be taken into the emergency department from these? It’s a sad world we are in isn’t it.

I need one so bad. If I was to pair it with a drill and pockethole jig, it would take my work to a new level.

Reminds me of some other must have tools.
Remember the roller sander also from Bosch. I don't think it sold real well.
Then there are all those "must have" tools that are promoted by "Renovator" or "TV shop". The twist a saw, better grips, mini saw, etc, etc.
While they may have a use none are the perfect do all tool. I think it is always better to do one thing well, than try and do lots of things badly.

What is wrong with you people? Who doesn't want a tiny chainsaw you can fit in you pocket. If anyone else says they don't need a power tool, or any tool, they will be banned. (I don't actually have that power but you will be banned in my mind)
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Well yes and no Matt. On the one hand I suppose we should know what's being put out there for the dickhead market, but on the other hand, stuff like that is really rather depressing.

The Laws of Mutual Exclusivity guarantee that. I really can't imagine that anyone a) stupid enough, b) talentless enough and c) common senseless enough or d) so ken lazy, would be likely to have the wherewithal to be able to sharpen a chain, particularly of that crazy small diameter. Good luck finding diamond encrusted toothpicks!

That is just about the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Did you see how it struggled with a 40mm dia branch? Cuts 16mm pussy ply ok though - only a little bit of smoke.

    Two questions:
    1. How did the ply get ripped down to 45mm wide strips? Definitely not using that stupid thing.
    2. What has pasta for lunch with a friend got to do with anything at all?

I wonder how long they’ll stock the blades for (after the saw stops selling). Looks to me like the sort of thing that will be made obsolete quite quickly.

Mrs. P needs one of those for pruning small trees, we have lots of small trees in the garden. Thanks for the heads up Matt and I am serious, I can't think what else it would be good for though.

Don't get that technical on us now.
Besides there working a dust mask that breaths for you, in case that also becomes to taxing on the grey matter.

It gets better; they've made a sort-of-a-jigsaw-ish version too!

The dialogue is in German.... but that's not a problem. Love the way it can be used with a track saw track instead of spending big deutschmarks on a circular saw; can cut square holes like a Renovator and can cut grooves just like a circular saw...or a router...or a grooving plane... the list of things it can do is almost endless!

Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

Mrs P needs Mr P to get a battery operated Recipro saw with a 3 tpi blade. Now THAT'S a garden saw.

Unless of course she only wants to trim the Bonsai's....
