Disston Saw - rehab suggestions
Just bought this off ebay.
I have not seen a red one before.
There are also some parts that look to be modified.
Suggestions?

I would give it a good scrub using detergent and a stiff brush then a thorough dry with a hair dryer. Then assess whether it needs further rehab ie rust treatment stripping and painting etc. Rust wise I would go with electrolysis bath but there are other options such as citric acid bath/phosphoric acid conversion/Molasses soaking in a strong tea soution ie tannic acid/
