Ebony Set Referbish
Every couple of years I try to bring many of my tools back to as close as new condition as possible. FullSizeRender.jpg
The brass on these has developed a lovely patina so its just a light oil of the handles and a polish and sharpen. I honestly hope Trent Powrie of Harold & Saxon returns to manufacturing these beautiful, functional tools. They are beautiful and joy to use.Last edited by IanW; 22nd May 2017 at 09:14 AM. That is a truly magnificent lineup (better than Miss World) and a tribute to the H & S name.

Ebony Set Referbish
I remember seeing these at the Melbourne show a while back. Very nice Kev. Are you going to bring out your infills and give them a wipe over?

Yes, a few of the infills are in need of a little TLC. I'm packing up and moving house shortly so it won't be for a while. I've promised myself some time next year to build my workshop.

I like the ebony stuff I have but they are just tools that need to be used.
I'm hoping that I can set up a useful, productive shed in the next 12 months and use the tools most days.
I hope to still have access to the machine shop at work and only use hand tools at home.
We will see.
