Actually what I meant was that I would only use the full strength epoxy glue that takes about 12 hours to set (depends a bit on brand) and several days to fully cure. In fact that is the only type I have ever used for this purpose so I am completely with you on that score. One thing to be aware of with the full strength versions is that most of them dry as an opaque or pale yellow colour.
