Dayum! I'd hoped the sharade might have gone a little further than two posts!
The silver parts (on mine at least) are diecast zinc, but the blade is a honest to goodness piece of spring steel and will actually take a shaving..

Would you believe I dropped the blade down to make it's length look more believable. The excess blade is protruding into a dog hole in the photos.
