Looks nice but I would much rather they celebrated ten years by giving a discount to customers on that day.
I like the Terry Pratchett view on meaningful dates - Grandpa's picture fell off the wall and he died exactly two years three months and five days later.

    365*2+31*3+5 = 828 = 22 × 32 × 23 is a Harshad number
The word "Harshad" comes from the Sanskrit harṣa (joy) + da (give), meaning joy-giver.
Now tell me there is no meaning in that

How could it not. Especially if you disliked the picture.

Of course, there aren't 3*31 day months in a row, so at least one has to have 30/28 days. So the total can't be 828 days.

Ah, but there must be a calendar somewhere that will do the trick

I'm tempted as production run limited to 100 ....would be good with an Aussie logo

I suppose they can't make any more as Thomas Lie-Neilsen would otherwise have writers cramp from engraving his signature.

    Default Block plane

    Number 12

Picked up this morning from Post Office

Tiniest of hones on a hard Arkansaw and gave it a run on some cedar (Thuja) and then some well seasoned spotted gum

Both blades work well but the higher angle is great on the spotty

I have some angophara put away somewhere and it has the worst grain I have ever tried to work - so am looking forward to trying it out as the angophara makes great feature inserts in box lids and drawer fronts but up till now I have had to go from the saw to a scraper and have always had problems if I had to relieve an edge of a board to fit a slot

I thought limited production run translated as someone in the factory stuffed up and we have 200 planes that wont suit the design they were intended for so. I know lets sell them as a special edition
