Thread: Anyone ever made a maul?

Hi Ern, sorry, it was disposable and is long gone. Picture a length, maybe 45 or 50cm, of tree trunk about 10cm diameter, the roots trimmed down smooth and the other end shaved down a bit to an oval-ish handle. Rough and disposable, nowhere near as nice as that one you made elsewhere in the thread.
It went into the firewood pile but they are not hard to replace when needed (assuming you have a small fallen she-oak haha). I don't think I have any pics but will see if I can find anything similar out on the web.
