Another mystery hammer
Friends of mine in the US bought this hammer, in its original box, for US $1.00 at a yard sale. They sent it to me as a Christmas present a few years ago. It is useless as a hammer but great for pulling nails.
Has anyone ever seen one like it?

Isnt that the one Homer Simson invented?
If you look at the handle end youll find where the batteries go.

I had a good laugh at this one, it's obviously designed by someone who has never seriously used a hammer before.
Q: Why are Estwing hammers so popular?
A: Because they are almost indestructible, and deliver most of your energy to the nail head rather than soaking it up in a timber or fibreglass handle.
So, a pivoted head on a fibreglass handle, it would want to be damn good at pulling nails out becuse you're going to be bending a lot of them!

Nope never seen one of those before (can't imagine why) I had to laugh as well, it really also needs a swivel in the middle of the handle so you can knock nails in around corners
I bet it also comes in a set with a flexible screwdriver, rubber ruler and plastic chisel.
Cheers Dave
