    Default What! Another mystery tool?

    Hi all,
I need some help on identifying what these tools are for.
I picked them up recently from Queensland, they are designed to be gripped in a carpenters brace but I'm certain they're for metal work Two are 115mm long and one is 125mm, they have three different orifice diametres, 9.6, 7.5 & 7.4mm. Two of them have sleeves inserted in the orifices. They've got an adjustable cutter in the central recess. My only guess is they could be for removing the thread from the end of a bolt to produce a lead spiggot as per the bolt in the last photo.
They are differently made with the lower of the three in the last photo being cast with what appears a number but the illegible due to one of the locating screws going through it. One of the others has a number, 14305 on it.
I've put this on the metalworking forum as well.
    All help appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Geoff.
