You could ring the delivery company and using the consignment note find out when the truck may arrive.

Melbourne Delivery Notice
4:30pm Startrack say it is a late delivery from Sydney and not coming till Monday! I have arranged to go and pick it up and should have it before 7:30pm. Looks like pickup on Saturday guys, sorry.
6:55pm Ok, I have the clamps at home and they appear to be all there. Pick up anytime Saturday. If anyone wants a compressed fibreboard pallet its yours. Likewise, anyone wanting a large tri-wall cardboard container 1.8m x 1m x 600mm - it's yours.
Terry, sorry I missed you. I tried to call 4-5 times to stop you leaving but got the answering service.
Late Note: I will be catching a movie between 10am and 1pm, though the wife will be home. I'd prefer it if you arrive before 0930 or after 1pm, but if your schedule is a problem SWMBO will be able to give you your order.
John, I have your clamps set aside and will bring them to Sale on Monday.

My thanks to Groggy and Boban
It appears that the Melbourne and Sydney delivery points went well - a few pick ups left to go.
I want to thank both Boban and Groggy for their efforts, for without the people at the delivery points, this wouldn't have happened.
Now it is a wait for the rest of us. Perhaps the time should be put to good use and start making a stand or board to hold all your K-bodies. For those lucky B's who already have their clamps, why not post pic's of how you store them.Burn

Perhaps even add some supports so the bars don't swing/clash as they are put in/pulled out.Burn

Racks
Burn et al,
The Bessey rack I posted previously I would not build again - the clamps are too close. I think I need something more like Gregoryq's too, although I like the Quick Grip rack I made, and may modify that in some way to hold the Besseys.
At the end of the day I want to slam the clamps back in storage and not have to fiddle around, the current rack needs fiddling and is also obscured by the jointer, making the placement of anything over 600mm a bit of a pain.

clamp rack
When I made the rack for my clamps I initially wanted to just be able to pull them straight out. I am a klutz, however, and would have found a way to knock one loose accidentally.
I visited a restorer of 1950's Porsche Carrera engines in San Jose, Calif some years ago. He had $150,000 worth of roller-bearing crankshafts on the wall when the big one hit. Seconds later he had paperweights. That has always made me leery of 'easy-in,easy-out'

racked
I had the same problem with clamps falling off wall racks.
I made this one and the clamps hang pretty well because they hang at an angle.
It is handy to be able to roll the rack to a job instead of walking back and forwards with a hand full of clamps.
As you can see I have plenty of room for more Bessey clamps.
See you pm Wednesday Boban - I will give you a call to confirm pickup time.Scally

As I have been a bit absent of late on the BB I thought I had better get up to date on this clamp thing.
So I was wondering if the clamp pick up which will be from my place by all accounts, should be organised with a meet & greet/BBQ at my place?
any thoughts?
