Ok, what did you get.
Hi folks
I enjoyed my trip to the tool sale
I noticed a lot of falcon planes on sale, my perception or are they gaining in popularity?
Any how I picked up a bundle of three sandvick saws for a fiver and a small 10inch steel backsaw diss ton for $15, very happy with my lot.
Interested in other opinions or gains
Alan

First time for me at the TTTG sale. I was quite impressed with the number of people. It was hard at the start to get a good look at everything, but as the crowd thinned I found a Disston D8 8 TPI rip with a Philada medallion, a light etch and most of its plate for $10; and a complete, boxed, Record 44 with 8 cutters and a spare lever cap (which is great as I need one for an old Carter C40 that was my grandfathers) for $55. I also bought a couple of new saw files, a small engineers square, and a #3 chip breaker from Jim Davey.

Between Virgil and I every single cheap hand axe / hatchet between $2 and $20. He's building up a supply for classes. I think it was about 7 or 8 in the end.

I've always liked Falcon planes. Got almost the full set. Still missing the convex base spoke shave. Never seen one...
