    Default Paul Sellers on Saws

OK - so I just rediscovered his sharpening video that I should have seen before ... but hadn't.

(How to Sharpen a Woodworking Handsaw with Paul Sellers - YouTube)

but there are also other articles.

Others have mentioned him being disappointed with Nicholson files ... and I couldn't understand that based on my very limited experience. This is the article ... Saw files, saved edges and recycling files - Paul Sellers | Paul Sellers

He mentioned mexican-made files ... so I looked in the garage.

These are the ones I have had from the local hardware store ... and it is a bit of an old-style everything-crammed-in-one-room type store ... so maybe they can be depended on for quality a bit more(???)
These ones are made in Brazil it seems - if that means anything.
