    Default Pennsylvania Saws

My brother-in-law picked up a couple saws for me today at a garage sale -- yes, it's evolved to others feeding my habit, as well as myself. I had never heard of the Pennsylvania Saw Corp before, so when he called to see if I wanted them, I couldn't resist ($3 each was within my budget). They don't appear to be all that old, maybe 50s or 60s -- what do you guys think as to age? From the limited information I could find on the company, they produced saws from the 1930s to the 1970s. Large, rather klunky handles and steel saw nuts lead me to believe they aren't very old (I think the medallions are aluminum, but they do have some weight to them, so not sure). What I do like about them is the etches. One of them has a fly fisherman and the other a picture of a man -- probably William Penn.

I've been able to find some references to the William Penn etch, but not the fisherman. Anyone ever seen this etch?

    Regards,
    Dave
