Pfiel Bench Chisels
Has anyone read any reviews or have Pfiel bevel edge bench chisels. They are pretty well known as quality carving tools, but are their bench models up to the standard of say LN or some of the other market leaders?

They were included in the AWR East vs West chisel shoot-out thing a couple of years (?) ago. Unfortunately they performed the lowest out of all the chisels tested, including Stanley and Marples. The author questioned the results and thought he might have gotten a bad example, considering his straight Pfeil carving chisel performed much better.
Not much help really, I hope you dig up some information.

I have a 10mm which I have ground down to 20 degrees for paring dovetails. It is simply the best! When i can score some on sale again I will grab them Stubai bench chisels are also a good buy.
