What plane Ray? That's about a bench.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

There's a plane in one of the photos but it's wooden and will likely be very hard to ID.

How can they make the plane body so stylish and the handle so frumpy? I can't believe the same designer did both of those.

You can put lipstick on a pig, even color its hair, put a dress on if you dare, but its still a PIG.

Hi Ray
As mentioned, it is a Veritas Custom #7.
This is a superior plane - certainly the best #7-type I have used. It excels in build quality, features and ergonomics. If you do not like the handle, there are a selection from which you can choose.
I wrote a review here, which compares a few #7-types: http://www.inthewoodshop.com/ToolRev...omPlanes1.html

Wow, that article provided an enjoyable 45 minutes reading! The section on handles explains a lot, and makes sense given Veritas' evidence based approach to their tool design.
