    Default Rasp ID

    Hi all,

Picked up a small, sharp, very fine rasp today.
To my old eyes, it looks to be hand stitched.

Anyone recognize the brand from the logo?
    Billhook in a shield?

Definitely hand stitched, but looks too fine to be a #5 - more like a #9. It's not a Liogier, and I don't recall that Auriou used that logo (but I'm not as familiar with them as Liogier).

I seem to recall having seen that logo somewhere though.

    Hello,
i think it's an old handstitched rasp. The grain#5 is not the Auriou or Liogier scale.
It's difficult with a picture but i think about a cabinet maker rasp 8" grain#11 or 12 by Liogier.
    Regards
