Router planes
Ok Guys, Starting to think about buying a router plane. What is the recommended one to get. Any bad experiences with a particular brand?

I think there was a good Lee Valley router plane for sale in the Market Place just recently. I'll see if I can find a link for you.
Nup, sold already. Here is a link to Lee Valley's website for their router plane.
Both Lee Valley and Lie Nielsen sell them, here is LN's version
Either one is a great tool.

I have a Stanley which I regularly use.
If I was purchasing a new one, I would follow Groggy's wise and considered advice.- Wood Borer
