    Default seeking update on H&S

Can anyone give an update on Harold and Saxon? I thought I read sometime ago that he was in the process of moving again.

I have been trying to get in touch with Trent for almost 2 months via email without any response. Last I heard from him was back in January when he told me my order would be ready by early March.

I don't mind the wait for the chisels (14 months and counting) but I am getting anxious not getting a response to my emails.

    thanks

Have you tried telephoning him? Phone number is at the bottom of the page.

Edit: Sorry, didn't notice you were from Canada. Would you like me to contact him on your behalf? PM me if you do.

thanks for the offer to call on my behalf. I will wait to see if anyone has any information about H&S before trying to call Trent myself.

    Default H&S update

    Eddie...,

    thanks for the information.

the email address you posted is the one I have been using to try and contact Trent without success.

I suppose I will have to try phoning him. Somewhat difficult with time zone differences between Canada and Australia (is he still on the east coast of Australia?).

Yep, on the East Coast. Either that or I failed Australian geography. Some people located in Vic or QLD would say NSW belongs in the nether regions of the world though!

I thought NSW was Australia !! And all the other states were just hangers-on 'round the edge......

I can't comment on internal Australian attitudes since I have only been to your beautiful country once. Its definitely on my "to return to list".

In the meantime I have heard from H&S - so all is good. I will just have to be patient. Being the proud owner of some H&S paring chisels already, I know how great Trent's work is and it will be worth the wait.
