Shave rack
Storing my shaves had become a bit of an issue. Some had hang holes, but most were just lying on shelves.
Very quick to make. Not overly strong (sideways) but strong enough for the task.
It's out of the way and at no real risk of bumping into it.
I also got to use up some cedar scraps I had.

Thanks for looking

Tt
I am guessing that moisture is not too much of a problem in Canberra with the open rack. However, if they were previously on shelves not much has changed anyway. I notice also a fancy handled saw set that I think is German?
Nicely done for the shaves.

There is a flaw in your design Thumbthumper,
I would think that anyone with eight spoke shaves is a little obsessed, and will no doubt end up with more fairly soon, but there are no spare slots!
Very nice looking rack though.

Very nice storage rack,
Some times simple is best.
We can all over think things sometimes.
Cheers Matt.

Hi Craig. What's GL-15? It sounds like the sort of thing I could use

Dovetails with a spokeshave? I didn't realise how versatile they are!

Sorry, I should have said "G15" not "GL-15". Jim Davey sells it. His site is here (Jim Davey for Premium Woodworking Tools | Falls Creek) and you can see it for sale on the picture on his front page. I can't find a link in his store.
That is a great excuse to look for him in person
It is a rust preventative that works a treat.
I can't find it on his site at the moment, but it is also at Carbatech: G15 Corrosion Inhibitor - 400ml | Carbatec
Regards,
Craig
