The large sizes are always expensive. If I remember right "shop price" for a new set of 5 is anywhere from $250 to $300. I have had my eye on some (although a bit put off). The issues is the myth that the new spanners are no where near as good as the older stuff. I am not 100% sure on that one. You would think with metallurgy advancements the newer spanners would be much stronger. That said, it is enough to put me off buying anymore. I am now more focused on Bahco, Stahlwille and Facom (importing direct from the UK whilst the pound is taking, well, a pounding!).
