A Simple Project's Hand Tools
Yesterday I posted over in Big Stuff -
https://www.woodworkforums.com/f187/s...-stand-134463/
- a simple planter stand that I had made, and during the feedback it occurred to me that I had used a lot of handtools in the project.
I thought it might be interesting to get a picture of them and post it.
This seemed to be the appropriate forum so here we are:

Yes Peter, it is a Millers Falls - can't remember the model number.
The little drill is my very first drill - a Stanley Australia. Bought it from Blackett's Hardware in Young in 1971. I found it handy to have one set up to drill with and the other set up with the countersink. The Millers Falls is a better drill, but I have used the Stanley for so long I know all its foibles.
Cheers

Love the idea. We often see the raw stock and the beautiful work it's turned into, but rarely the tools used to do so, and that's half the story!
