Spare blade for Veritas Low Angle Jack - what angle?
So I bought a PM-V11 25° blade for my LAJ which means I have a spare blade available. Figured I’d put a higher angle on the original but unsure what angle to go with, can anyone make any suggestions?
Also am I right to assume there will be no issues hollow grinding these blades?

What task do you want to use it for?
Smoothing and jointing WA timber - 50 degree secondary microbevel on 25 degree primary bevel with mild camber (do not attempt to grind the blade to 50 degrees - you will not be able to camber it).
Traversing - cambered 25 degrees.
Shooting - straight 25 degrees.

Awesome cheers mate, it will likely be used for stubborn timbers so will go with a 50 degree micro bevel. The PM-V11 blade will be used for shooting and other less cranky timbers.

I think I once got up to 55 degree microbevel on a 25 degree hollow ground primary bevel - desperate times trying to plane some "random-grained" timber.
Does get awfully hard to push though....
