Very nice pick ups, Sheddie. The retail therapy continues!!!
Did you pay much for them?
How are the sides of the bench rabbet (#10)? When I was looking for mine (and the #10 1/2), I found quite a few with cracks and poor welded repairs.
Cheers

G'day Jeremy. Indeed the retail therapy continues. Bought a Domino system yesterday. $1640 including a nice Jap saw for free. I paid 96 for the rabbet and 51 for the four. The rabbet body is unrepaired with no cracks. The knob is a bit ratty and the tote has been repaired with inlaid silky oak strips.

Hey Mike,
Nice packaging!
The bench rabbets are incredibly handy planes. I had a LN version which I sold off to help fund making saws. That and a couple other planes I sold I still kick myself over.
fwiw, I have done simple raised panels with the one I had. Cut the rabbet in first and then the bevel. Worked good. And on a larger carcass, nothing beats it for cutting rabbets.
Glad it was in good shape. Lucky bugger!
Take care, Mike
