Hi Thumbsucker, just picked up this great initiative of yours from your recent post in the Japanese Hand Tool thread.
Looks like I'm just in time.
Please put me down for two Stanley replacement blades: 1 x 2" + C-iron and 1 x 2 3/8" + C-iron.
I would have gone for 140mm @ 40mm x 4mm for a wood plane, but there is only 90mm left of that width. Could I pay for 140mm @ 50mm x 6mm but get it as 140mm @ 40mm x 6mm?
Many thanks

TS
I have mentioned the plane blades and chisels to a mate and he wants in.
To make it easy he wants the same as me so can you double up my order of plane blades and chisels, including ferrules.
We would be down to a handfull of chisels now!

Hi TS,
You already have me down for a set of chisels - I'd like to add two blades to my order if they are still available - one 2" and one 2 3/8" blade + C/irons for both.
Thanks,
Geoff

Would it be any benefit to maybe let some others in on this order from other forums so as to fill the sheets.

TS, some time ago (post 628) you floated the option of getting plane blades without a primary bevel at a cost of $27 each rather than $33 each with the bevel. Is this an official option? I ask because while the 4 chisel options are outlined in the PDF, there is no mention of this cheaper option for plane blades.

TS
Please put me down for
1 x 1 3/4"
1 x 2"
1 x 2 3/8"
plus the cap irons
I'll also go a set of the chisels finished to stage 3 along with the fancy ferrules.
Is there a chance to get extra ferrules?
thanksLast edited by Sawdust Maker; 7th January 2009 at 01:26 PM. Reason: cap irons
