Jim Davey - Planes and Sharpening - SALES - Stanley Planes, WoodRiver Planes, Irons, Stanley Screws, Stones, Hones & Jigs
First person that came to mind. There are other restorers that frequent the forum, at least one is in Melbourne....I think.
You might find a Stanley plane of similar age and size and get the yoke off that.
Or you could just wait untill a forum member says "I've got one of those in a box of junk".
Which I have.......but we'll wait till someone closer to you puts their hand up.
What model/era is the plane? We don't know how lucky we are......

Rob,
are you wanting the cast iron adjuster yolk that engages the brass depth adjuster wheel?
If you do, I have a couple and you are welcome to have one if you like.
I see from your webpage you are in Eaglemont. Not too far from where I am, near Ringwood.
Bring it over and make certain the one we chose fits, they have slightly different shapes through the years they were made.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Lig, Yep, Peter had just what I was looking for. While I was there, he showed me how to use a two legged parser (Untitled Document) to drill square, shield or any shape really in wood for placing metal or ceramic or whatever makers marks.

Great to meet and have a chat with another forum member, especially one making things!
For those interested in the parser / passer
Here is a web-page on the Two Legged Parser I made earlier this year.
Regards,
Peter
PS thanks for the plank of redgum Rob, still thinking what to make with it.
