Very impressive. I especially like the size and types of joints you are using. Please keep the photos coming.

Looking good. If that is its final position, I'd be worrying about the foundations and longevity if it was mine

Thanks for posting your progress and photos, it's interesting watching a build using these traditional techniques. Where are you putting the sauna?
There are lots of old farm houses around where I live that would be about 100 years old and are just sitting on a rock foundation (a row of rocks laid on top of the ground). I expect Kisel could show us lots of old houses built using traditional techniques that are still standing. Our current building standards and rules and regulations and approvals and appeals ... show the result of letting lawyers and engineers get involved in the process.

It´s been a while now since posting : ) And I apologize for the delay. It´s been so much that I have forgotten to update. But the house is finally finished and there is a nice movie about it and some nice albums that you can view the whole process from start to finish : ) The house was 90 % done end of July where those picture when the final beauty shots were taken and the house has slowly starting to get to fully finished after that with bathroom, kitchen and stove installation.
I got the please of making the staircase from start to finish : )
