Default A few more tool pickups

I have had a bit more "success" in filling out my tool collection lately.

The router plane is a Carter with 4 cutters and its fence and depth stop that I picked up on eBay, where I also got the 5 Titan chisels. One of them is skew-ground, but I don't know if it was originally like that or it has been added later. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm going to leave it as is (I was thinking of grinding a skew at some stage anyway) and see how it works out.

The saws, the two chisels on the right and the plane blade I picked up at the Daylesford Mill Markets for $41 all up. Both the chisels (like the titans) need their handles replaced; the smaller is a Toledo (I've got two other toledos and like the edge they hold), and the other has some obscured mark that I guess I'll see better when I clean them up. Making new handles for all my chisels is a to-do project for this year, so they can go on the pile.

The plane blade is an old Mathieson. It was in a wooden coffin smoother that is split in half and held together by wire and a bolt, so is essentially useless. But the blade and chipbreaker are both in good nick, and since I intend to make planes in the future, it will be a good iron for my first attempt.

The two saws I bought to get some practise at sharpening with before I attempt to make my own (from the saw plate group buy). The tenon saw is 12ppi, has no maker's mark, and a riveted handle, but a good solid spine a a nice feel in the hand.

The small panel saw I bought because of its compact size and the nib. It's the first time I've seen a nibbed blade in the flesh, so I bought it. Plus, the price was very affordable.

I like the shape of the handle, but it has a split through where the lambs-tongue joins the cheek and its nut-holes are all chewed out. The top nut is a flat-screw, and different from the other two. The medallion is missing. I can't see any maker's mark or etching on it, but there is an "8" stamped into the heel, which I imagine corresponds with the ppi, which is 8ppi rip.

So now I guess, I'll add making a saw vise and saw handles to my list of things to do!

    !
No mention of skew ground Titans in any of their, or anybody elses catalogues or advertisements that I have seen. I'm 99.9% sure a previous owner has shaped it at some stage to get into corners, use for turning etc. I have done it myself and observed others before. Very handy but even better if it is a bevel edge. Should only do it if it's a non collectable roughie Titan though. I'd hate to see a long thin parer or a 1 3/4" anything given this treatment. Goes against the grain to alter any Titan though! The Gods will punish, especially Hephaestus, the bloke on the early handle decals. He doesn't like his ironmongery fiddled with.
